Salon client records that remember the formula

The client card is the salon's memory: the formula that worked, the patch test date, the products she bought, the stylist she prefers. GetSalonPOS keeps it with every visit and every sale, so any stylist can pick up where the last one left off.

What does “colour formula card” mean?

Colour formula card
A colour formula card records the exact colour mix used on a client: brand, shades, developer strength, ratios, processing time and result. Salons keep it so the next visit matches. In GetSalonPOS it lives on the client record with the date and stylist.

Client history: how it works, step by step

Five steps, in the order the desk meets them.

  1. Import your clients

Send us the export from your current system or your phone contacts. We import names, phones, emails and notes free.

  2. Every visit is recorded

Appointments and sales attach to the client automatically: date, services, stylist, products, price paid.

  3. Add the formula and notes

Record the colour formula, processing time, patch-test date, allergies and preferences on the client card.

  4. See it at booking

When the client books, the desk and the stylist see the history and notes before she sits down.

  5. Bring her back

See who hasn't visited in eight weeks and send a rebooking message; give reward points on every visit.

Client history: your questions

Records

Can I store colour formulas?

Yes. Add the formula as a dated note on the client: brand, shades, developer, ratio, time and result. The full history is kept.

Can I record allergies and patch tests?

Yes, as notes on the client card that show at booking. Keep only what you need, and tell clients why you keep it.

Can I see what a client bought before?

Yes. Every sale, product and service is listed on the client's history with dates and prices.

Can I add photos?

Yes. Attach documents and photos (for example a before/after with the client's consent) to the client record.

Import

Can you import my clients from Vagaro, Fresha, Square or Booksy?

Yes. Export your client list as a CSV from your current system and we import it free. See switching.

What if my clients are only in my phone?

Export your contacts to a CSV (or vCard) and we import them. We can also start from a WhatsApp Business contact list export.

Privacy

Who can see client records?

Only users whose role allows it. You can hide phone numbers and emails from stylists if you want.

Can I delete a client's data on request?

Yes. Remove or anonymise a client on request; sales stay in your accounts without personal details. See security & data.
