A salon loyalty program and gift cards that sell themselves

Loyalty in a salon is mostly about one thing: coming back. GetSalonPOS gives reward points on every visit and purchase, sells gift cards for holidays, weddings and Eid, and shows every balance on the receipt so clients remember they have it.

What does “salon reward points” mean?

Salon reward points
Reward points are credits a client earns on each paid visit or purchase and redeems later as a discount. A simple rule, such as one point per unit spent and a set value per point, is easy for clients to understand and for the desk to explain.

Why salons switch on loyalty & gift cards

01Gain

Cash in advance

Gift cards sold in December and before Eid are revenue before the service.

02Gain

More return visits

A visible balance is a reason to rebook.

03Gain

Simple to run

No stamp cards to lose, no separate loyalty app.

Loyalty & gift cards: how it works, step by step

Five steps, in the order the desk meets them.

  1. Set the points rule

Choose points per amount spent, the minimum spend, the value of a point and when points expire.

  2. Clients earn automatically

Each paid sale on a client adds points. The balance prints on the receipt.

  3. Redeem at checkout

The client uses points as part of payment; the desk sees the balance.

  4. Sell gift cards

Sell a gift card at the desk or online; it is redeemed as a payment method and tracked to zero.

  5. Reward groups

Put members, staff, students or bridal parties in client groups with their own prices.

Loyalty & gift cards: your questions

Points

How do reward points work?

You set points per amount spent and the value of each point. Points are added on paid sales and redeemed at checkout. Balances show on receipts and the client card.

Can points expire?

Yes. Set an expiry period, for example 12 months, or never.

Can I exclude some services or products?

Yes. Set a minimum order and exclude items you don't want to reward.

Gift cards

Can I sell gift cards online?

Yes. Gift cards can be sold as a product in your online store and redeemed at the desk.

Can a gift card be used over several visits?

Yes. The remaining balance stays on the card until it reaches zero.

Do gift cards need to follow local rules?

Some places regulate gift card expiry (several US states require long or no expiry). Set your expiry to match your local rules.

Groups

Can I give members or staff special prices?

Yes. Client groups can have their own price group or discount, applied automatically at checkout.

Can I run a bridal party package?

Yes. Create a combo service or a client group for the party, take a deposit, and check each guest out on the same booking.
