Export from your current system
Download clients, services and products as CSV or Excel. Most systems have an export under Reports or Settings.
Send the files to us
Upload them on your onboarding call or send them securely; we never ask for your old system password.
We map and import
Names, phones, emails, notes, services with prices and durations, products with barcodes, cost and stock.
You check a sample
We show you ten clients and ten products side by side before importing the rest.
Run both for a week
New bookings go into GetSalonPOS; old bookings finish in the old book.
Switch the links
Update your Instagram bio, Google Business Profile and WhatsApp to the new booking link, then cancel the old plan.

Import
How do I switch salon software without losing clients?
Export your client list as a CSV, send it to us and we import it free; run both systems for a week while old bookings finish, then move your booking link. Clients keep their history as notes on their card.
What does importing cost?
Nothing. The import fee is 0.
Can you import appointment history?
Past visits usually come across as notes or a visit list per client, depending on what your export contains. Future appointments can be imported or finished in the old system.
Can you import colour formulas?
If they are in your export as notes, yes. If they are on paper cards, stylists add them as clients come in.
Timing
How long does switching take?
Set-up is about half an hour; import is usually done in one to two working days; most salons are fully moved within a week.
When is the best time to switch?
A quiet week, not the week before a holiday or wedding season.
Do I need to tell clients?
Only that the booking link has changed. Deposits and gift card balances can be imported as client balances.
What about gift card balances?
Export them from your old system and we add them as balances so clients can still use them.
