Vagaro questions

Comparing

How much does Vagaro cost with eight stylists?

Vagaro's base price covers one calendar and each added calendar costs extra, so the total grows with the team. Check Vagaro's current pricing page. GetSalonPOS Salon is one price for up to 8 chairs.

Will I lose marketplace bookings if I leave Vagaro?

You lose Vagaro's marketplace listing. Most salons replace it with their own booking link on Instagram, Google Business Profile and WhatsApp, which carries no client fee.

Does GetSalonPOS have forms and consent?

You can store consent and patch-test notes on the client card and attach documents. Dedicated digital intake forms are on request; ask on your demo.

Is the commission report as detailed?

Yes: every ticket line, the rate applied, splits, refunds and tips separated. See stylist commission.

Can my Vietnamese-speaking staff use it?

Yes. Each user picks their interface language, so mixed-language teams work in one system.

Switching

Can I import my clients from Vagaro?

Yes. Export your client list (and services and products where Vagaro allows it) as a CSV and we import it free. Appointment history usually comes across as notes on each client. See switching.

Will I lose my future bookings when I switch?

No, if you plan it. We import upcoming appointments from your export or you run both systems for one or two weeks, taking new bookings only in GetSalonPOS until the old book empties.

Do I need new hardware?

Usually not. GetSalonPOS runs in a browser on the tablet or computer you already have. Card machines stay with your own processor. See the hardware guide.
